A furry friend got trapped in an unexpected place when a sports reporter for the Kansas City Royals heard whimpering sounds coming from a car in the parking lot at work.
Carrie Lippert Gillaspie found the four-month-old pup named BonBon excited to see her when she lifted the car’s hood. The four-legged adventurer had snuck into the car of her colleague Ashley Newman and hitched a 25-mile ride before being found.
BonBon was dehydrated and exhausted, but thanks to Gillaspie, she was reunited with her owner after drinking a whole bowl of water.
