During an outreach mission in De Doorns, Sidewalk Specials discovered Squiggle, a small dog exhibiting signs of severe distress by sitting and drooling excessively. The dog was incapable of consuming food or water, displaying symptoms of serious illness. Upon the consent of his owner, Squiggle was promptly transported to a veterinary hospital for immediate attention.

Diagnostic X-rays revealed a bone obstructing his throat, a wire present in his stomach, and a diagnosis of tick bite fever, significantly diminishing Squiggle’s survival prospects. However, timely medical intervention offered a glimmer of hope for his recovery. Fortuitously, Squiggle’s condition improved under care, and he has since been adopted into a loving family, surrounded by numerous friends.
