This may not come as a surprise to a lot of us, but a study has confirmed that it can be as tough to lose a pet as it is losing a family member. That’s because some of us feel our dogs are family members. And I would have to agree.
The study found that 71% of women and 55% of men feel that the loss of an animal can have as profound an effect as the death of a human family member. What do you think of these numbers? Do you think the study got it right?
