His owner, Chantal Desjardins, initially didn’t realize how human-sounding Yogi looked, stating in an interview with The Dodo, “Looking at him, normally I don’t see it!” However, everything changed after she shared a photo of Yogi on Facebook, where her friends noted his striking resemblance to a human. One friend remarked, “He looks like there is a human in that dog body,” while another added, “Why does one look like you did a human face swap? It’s freaking me out!” The conversation quickly escalated when a friend decided to post Yogi’s photo on Reddit, and suddenly, the internet was ablaze with reactions.
