Dobby, a little dog with giant ears, was found shaking on the side of the road and taken to a shelter. Brittnie, who was taking a group of dogs to the vet, met him and decided to foster him. Dobby was so frightened and uncomfortable that Brittnie turned her sweatshirt around and put him inside to keep him warm. She later made him a sock outfit so he could fit in and feel safe on the couch.
Brittnie shared Dobby’s story on social media in hopes of finding him a permanent home. Her friend Brooke recognized Dobby and called immediately. Brooke was meant to be in Dobby’s life all along, and the two formed an instant connection.
Dobby’s story is heartwarming and demonstrates the importance of fostering and adopting shelter animals. Even a tiny dog with big ears and a difficult past can find love and comfort in the care of a loving owner.
