Yet her compassion outweighed her apprehensions. “The possibility of someone losing control or of Lucky darting into the road was truly frightening, and the potential consequences weighed heavily on my mind,” she recalled. “But above all, my main focus was to get that sweet girl to safety.”
As she prepared to bravely approach the pup, fate intervened. A kind stranger named Misty noticed Tessa’s efforts and pulled over to lend a hand. It was clear this scared puppy wasn’t moving from under Lane’s car, but with patience and teamwork, the women worked together to coax her out of her hiding place.
