When you think of bikers, you might think of tough guys who like to ride their bikes and scare people. But what if there was a group of bikers who used their strength and courage to save animals?
That’s exactly what Rescue Ink is all about. This nonprofit organization is made up of burly bikers who are dedicated to saving animals from abuse and neglect.
Rescue Ink was founded in 2007 by Joe Panz, a former firefighter who was inspired to start the organization after seeing a news story about a pit bull named Maximus who had been chained to a tree and doused with gasoline.
Since then, Rescue Ink has rescued hundreds of animals from all over New York City. They’ve saved dogs from dogfighting rings, cats from hoarding situations, and even a horse from a neglectful owner.
Rescue Ink doesn’t just rescue animals. They also work to educate the public about animal abuse and how to prevent it. They give presentations at schools and community events, and they even have their own reality TV show on the National Geographic Channel.
Rescue Ink is a group of bikers who are making a difference in the world. They’re showing us that anyone can be a hero, no matter what their background is.
