A heartwarming story of a mama dog and her precious puppies has touched the hearts of animal lovers everywhere. Kerry, a former street dog, was found pregnant and hiding under a car, mere days away from giving birth. Fortunately, she was rescued and gave birth to five healthy and adorable puppies in a Texas shelter.
Despite the challenges of living on the streets, Kerry welcomed the attention of her rescuers and even asked for her paw to be held while she nursed her newborns. Hearts & Bones Rescue group, who helped Kerry and her puppies, were impressed with her resilience and affectionate nature.
Katherine Hieber of Hearts & Bones Rescue said, “Kerry is extremely affectionate, so if you’re around, she’ll make it known how much she loves being close to you with kisses or a paw shake.”
