Hope For Paws was alerted about two dogs left deserted on a street, with reports indicating that one of them was suffering from a significant tumor near its abdomen. Upon arrival, the team found the pair inseparable, demonstrating unwavering loyalty to each other. The rescuers initially engaged with them by providing food and gentle conversation.
The dogs then willingly followed the rescuers to the Hope For Paws vehicle, where they were secured with Lucky Leashes and affectionately named Orchid and Minks.
Once at the organization’s main facility, the dogs underwent a thorough cleaning process to remove hundreds of fleas and ticks, followed by a well-deserved rest. This was a much-needed reprieve after the ordeal they had experienced.
Subsequently, Orchid and Minks were placed in the care of L.A. Animal Rescue for fostering, quickly moving on to find a permanent home together. It is heartwarming to know that these two will spend the remainder of their lives in each other’s company.
