There’s nothing more special than a kid’s birthday. Each year is a milestone and deserves to be celebrated. For one boy, turning 12 was a huge deal, and his parents took it very seriously. His mom hands the boy his gift and he can’t wait to open it!
He beams as he unwraps his present, but he surely wasn’t prepared for what was inside. First, he received a gift from his favorite show. Next, he pulled out a plush basketball with a squeaker inside. While confused, the boy’s mom asked what’s that… and he replied, “It’s a dog toy.” He held the basketball in his hand and squeezed it a few times. And then Mom told him to turn around.
Suddenly the boy’s dad was standing behind him, cradling something in his arms. As Dad stepped towards his son, the boy could see that Dad was holding a puppy! And this wasn’t just any puppy– this was the puppy he had been waiting for since he was 3 years old! The boy starts to happy cry and it’s official! This is his best birthday yet!
