Empathetic MLAR team members welcomed Homer into their care, but the sweet pup was bewildered. Why had they left him? For hours, he sulked in his kennel, staring at the cold back wall, as if searching for answers in the shadows. “He is understandably very confused,” MLAR shared in a poignant Facebook post on the day he arrived. “He is just sitting in his kennel staring at the back wall, as if he’s trying to understand where the life he knew went.”
